Welcome to Mandi Rate ("we", "our", or "us"). Mandi Rate operates the daily Pakistan vegetable and fruit wholesale market price discovery platform and home delivery service accessible via our mobile Android app and web application at https://app.mandirate.online and https://mandirate.online.
This document informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
2. Information We Collect
A. Order & Contact Details
When you submit an order for fresh vegetables, fruits, or pulses:
- Customer Name: To address delivery packages and identify your order.
- Mobile Phone Number: To send order confirmation, dispatch alerts via SMS or WhatsApp, and allow our delivery rider to call you upon arrival.
- Delivery Address: Your selected city, town/village, and street address to transport your produce.
📍 B. Location Information (One-Time at Checkout)
If you click the "Detect My Location" or GPS button at checkout:
- We ask for permission to obtain your current GPS latitude and longitude once.
- This coordinate is used only to tag your order address so the courier can navigate directly to your gate.
- NO BACKGROUND TRACKING: Mandi Rate does not record or access your location when the app is closed or in the background. Once coordinates are captured at checkout, the device GPS hardware is deactivated.
C. Technical App Data & Cookies
We use browser local storage (localStorage and IndexedDB) to save your active cart, selected mandi market, and previous orders on your device. We do not use third-party cross-site advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Fulfilling Orders: Packing the requested vegetables, computing correct weights, and arranging doorstep delivery.
- Live Price Discovery: Delivering real-time wholesale and retail mandi rate lists synced daily at 6:00 AM.
- Customer Support: Assisting you via WhatsApp or phone with missing items, delivery updates, or refunds.
- Order Tracking: Allowing you to enter your Order ID or tracking code to monitor order status in real time.
4. Third-Party Service Providers & Security
Your data is housed in enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure:
- Google Cloud Platform / Firebase Firestore: Secure cloud database certified under ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3, with AES-256 database encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
- Dispatch Couriers: Delivery riders receive only the necessary contact name, phone, and delivery address to hand over your order.
We do not share your data with advertisers, third-party analytics trackers, or data brokers.
5. Data Retention & User Rights (Deletion)
You maintain full ownership and control over your personal information. Under applicable data protection regulations, you have the right to request:
- Access to any personal records linked to your phone number.
- Correction of outdated address or profile details.
- Complete deletion of your customer record and order logs.
Please email privacy@mandirate.online with your registered phone number and the subject line "Request Data Deletion". All stored profile details and order records will be permanently removed from our database within 7 business days.
6. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for general adult audiences and retail vegetable buyers. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please notify us immediately so we can remove it.
